Magnus Minerals has had a briefing to local stakeholders in Sodankylä and Pelkosenniemi regarding exploration in Lapland. Antofagasta has withdrawn from Finland.
Antofagasta has approved another DP (Designated Project) for Lapland with a 1M$ budget. 2014 years budget for Antofagasta work now stand at about 3.2M$.
The projects in Lapland have advanced according to plan. Mapping, prospecting, soil geochemistry, historic data review, and VTEM surveys have been done. We have more than 100 hundred anomalies identified and we have done Base of Till Drilling in more than 40 targets.
Antofagasta Minerals approved a 2.5M $ budget for 2014 for the Pelkosenniemi and Sodankylä projects. In 2013 Magnus operated a 2M $ budget for Antofasgasta and 0.5M$ in 2012.
FinnAust Mining got listed in London on the AIM-exchange on 2.12.2013. Magnus Minerals owns 5.6% of FinnAust. Western Areas owns 68 %. Magnus Minerals has royalties on a number of FinnAust projects. FinnAust website
The highest grade drill hole intersection at Hammaslahti by FinnAust to date is: DDH R303 DT7: 3.4m @ 11.5% copper, 54.4ppm silver and 3.0ppm gold from 546.1m down hole depth.
